Terms
Last updated: 15 September 2026.
These terms govern your use of Trademark Radar, a service operated by Patternsoft Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 05990192. By using the website or service, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Trademark Radar provides commercial-intelligence information derived from public trade mark filings, company information, websites and other public sources. The service is intended to help businesses identify and research possible commercial opportunities.
2. No guarantee or professional advice
Outputs may include automated assessments, scores, summaries and recommendations. They are indicators only and may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date. Trademark Radar does not guarantee that a filing will lead to a product launch, purchasing requirement, sales opportunity or other commercial event.
The service does not provide legal, financial, investment or other regulated professional advice. You remain responsible for verifying information and deciding whether and how to act on it.
3. Acceptable use
You must use the service lawfully and responsibly. You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, use it to harass individuals, or use information supplied by Trademark Radar in a way that breaches applicable data-protection, marketing or other laws.
4. Accounts and access
If you are given an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity carried out through your account. Access is personal to the authorised user or organisation and may be suspended where we reasonably believe the service is being misused or security is at risk.
5. Early access and changes
During early access the service may change frequently. Features may be added, altered, suspended or withdrawn and availability is not guaranteed. We may update these terms when the service develops; the current version will be published on this page.
6. Intellectual property
Trademark Radar, its software, presentation, branding and original analysis are owned by or licensed to Patternsoft Ltd. Public-source material remains subject to the rights of its respective owners. You may use service outputs for your organisation's normal internal business purposes, but you may not reproduce or resell the service itself without permission.
7. Third-party information and services
The service depends on information and services supplied by third parties. We do not control those sources and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy or content. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, Patternsoft Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings arising from use of the service. You should not rely on Trademark Radar as the sole basis for a significant commercial decision.
9. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Notice.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these terms or the service, subject to any mandatory rights that apply by law.
